The Best Thing Happened To Me Today In Math Class
We had a substitute for Math because my actual teacher had personal business to attend to. We weren’t doing much, just some little project, and today it was storming in Texas. So this enormous clap of thunder shakes the walls and everybody starts screaming. Then I look over at the teacher’s desk to see our substitute standing up from his chair and shouting, “Shut up Thor! Loki isn’t here!”

We became best friends after that, obviously.

Okay, sorry it took so long but I’ve been bonding with my dad while watching serial killers and wars (I’m sure that says something about our relationship, but I can delve into that some other time).
Anyway, for anyone who doesn’t know, 15 was basically “what would be hardest to give up? Why?”
I came up with three answers to this question, and because I think you deserve a fair explanation, I’m going to explain all three.
School:
“School?!” You exclaim, worry knitting your brow as you wonder what kind of psycho you’ve been following. “Why would anyone not want to give up school?” Well, it’s not really about school itself, it’s more about the people there. School is where all my friends are. Literally. I only have a couple of friends who I don’t go to school with, and to be honest, we’re not all that close. I guess I just need to see someone five times a week in order to maintain a connection. This doesn’t mean that I don’t care about or want to talk to or hang out with my friends outside of school, it just means that unless they keep the connection (which to date hasn’t happened) our friendship starts to fade. So basically, without school I wouldn’t have friends. Giving up school would be giving up my friends.
The Internet:
Except… that sort of changed a couple months ago when I really discovered tumblr. All of a sudden I’ve discovered a new kind of friend, a person whom I’ve never met but I feel a connection to. Who I want to be happy and they want me to be happy. There are two people on tumblr that I consider my “internet best friends” and I hope you know who you are, although to be honest I’ve never told you because I’m pretty sure you don’t see me in the same way. However you guys see me though, I love talking to you and do consider you among my friends, and giving up the internet would be giving up you guys.
A Pen:
Wow this sounds so cheesy, but it’s true. I can survive without my friends, I’ve been doing it for 2-4 weeks every summer for the past 8 years. I think this is because in the moment, I consider the people I’m with to be my friends, despite always being the last person anyone thinks of and ignored if I don’t make myself heard or seen. For those two weeks I think they’re my friends, but then I come back home and I see how delusional I was. I’ve actually gotten physically sick a couple of years in row due to this harsh relationship, but I have survived, and I think the reason is because I’ve always had a pen. Somehow, even though it didn’t necessarily make me feel better, writing, or scribbling or drawing or recording song lyrics stuck in my head, helped me deal with my loneliness while I was away from school or my computer. I’m pretty sure if I didn’t have a pen I would drive myself insane, so that’s how that one got on my list.
Wow, that was a really heavy post. Sorry for all that… I really didn’t expect to go that deep… I think I’m going to go do something a little lighter now. I’ll be back in a bit.

And a handful of people still try to say Jack didn’t really care for Ianto. O_O Please. Jack does not stop fighting for anyone, but he was willing to give up to save him. This is his way of saying “I love you” - no transparency or pretense. And this moment just killed me.
Exactly!!! Jack is willing to sacrifice everything in order to save him. Everything! Ianto at this point means the world to him because he is not just his lover but he also balances him and makes him a better person. When he lost Ianto, Jack lost himself too. Even though this is scene kills me it also soothes me because it shows how much they truly love each other!

Slightly depressing in parts but okay I'll do it
- 1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
- 2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
- 3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
- 4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
- 5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love and Trust.
- 6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
- 7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
- 8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
- 9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
- 10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
- 11. Does love = sex?
- 12.Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
- 13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
- 14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
- 15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
- 16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
- 17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
- 18.Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?
- 19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
- 21.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
- 22. Are you old fashioned?
- 23. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
- 24.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
- 25.If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
